Briefing: Getting clear on the book's genre, target audience, story, and author's vision to understand the desired look and feel.
Concept: Creating several design concepts based on the initial briefing. Selecting or creating compelling imagery and typography that aligns with the book's genre and message.
Design: Developing a genre appropriate, balanced and visually appealing design for the front, back and spine of the book, ensuring they work together cohesively. These designs will be consistent with the overall branding in the case of a set or series, evoke emotions based on the themes within the book, be easily legible from a distance.
Revisions: Providing up to 3 revisions to refine the chosen design based on feedback.
Usage: Creating print-ready files in formats like PDF, as well as eBook-compatible files. Creating visualizations of the book and additional promotional images (e.g., 3D mock-ups).
