About M3R
The name M3R comes from the word “REM” (the state of sleep where dreaming occurs) reflected backwards and the number 3 representing the three creative hubs within our studio.
Our Design hub: Offering a range of design packages that include Logo and brand identity design, Events visual identity design, Campaign design, Typography, Poster design, Book cover design, Merchandise design, Packaging design, Album cover art, and Creative / Art Direction.
Our Media hub: Offering services that include creative direction, art and fashion films, music and lyric videos, brand films, photography, and content creation.
Our Art hub: Home to the collection of artworks by Heze, the artistic project by Anita Ezeh. The art studio offers Heze prints, paintings, sculptures, and public art including shop windows, murals and installations. Our Art hub also runs The Migrating Art Show (THEMAS), a series of artist-led pop-up art shows in cities across the UK.
Our Founder
Anita is a multi-disciplinary visual artist, designer, curator and filmmaker. She is a University of the Arts London (UAL) and Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) alumni and has worked professionally with organisations like Brighter Sound, Factory International, and HOME Mcr.

Fun facts about her:
She’ll wear a smart shirt for meetings, but she does her best work in her signature black hoodie.
She loves a good side quest (like working in theatre stage management for 3 months) and collecting              transferrable skills like infinity stones.
She is an introverted extrovert and loves solitude just as much as she loves the energy of a crowd.
Her snack preference is salty over sweet, but spicey is even better.
She is neurodivergent and has learned to view being different and marching to the beat of your own              drum as a superpower.
How It All Started
After leaving school, Anita worked independently as a freelancer for 3 years before returning  to higher education in Manchester (c. 2021).
Surrounded by that famous Northern friendliness and the creative hub of Greater Manchester, she learned that collaborative projects and working with other people to bring a shared vision to life was a much preferred way of working.
From designing experiential concepts for Holland & Barret product pop-up shops to working with a small film crew in directing a short film sponsored by HOME, the takeaway was this: Going on a journey with someone else can be more rewarding and enjoyable than solitary work.
What started with one laptop in a café turned into a network of collaborators and independent contractors, freelancers, event organisers and small business owners looking to brand their services.
It became clear that while working with big brands and organisations might pay the bill, the real mission was to use those skills to help kickstart careers and launch new, exciting ventures.
Two years later, M3R studio was founded as a creative studio that embodies the core values of our founder; a sense of comradery, community and embarking on a creative journey together.
